Course Description
The class concentrates on the popular Enterprise Linux Operating System distribution, and covers subjects ranging from initial installation of Linux to day-to-day administrative tasks such as management of user accounts and disk space, and exploring the troubleshooting skill those system administrators will need to cope with unexpected system behaviour.
Audience
This course is ideal for those have gained basic skill with Linux or UNIX which taught in the BELT871 Fundamental to Enterprise Linux Courses and now wants to gain in depth knowledge on tasks as an Enterprise Linux system administrator.
Prerequisites
Students should have a solid grounding in UNIX concepts. Fundamentals skill such as an understanding of the Linux filesystem, process management, ability to manipulate and edit files is considered a must and will not be covered in class.
Course Objective
You will learn to:
- Installation using different Linux installation method.
- Understanding about Linux file concept and filesystem management.
- Understanding about booting process, system initialization and GRUB.
- Kernel and several kernel parameters.
- Network configuration using different tools.
- RPM Package Manager and automate mass installation.
- Understanding about user management and network user.
- Printing services.
- System administration tools – make the system easier to maintain.
- X Window system and other features.
- Understanding about Logical Volum Manager (LVM), Raid, and Quota
- Troubleshooting.
Duration
Duration of Course will do it 4 days, from 9.00 am to 5.00 pm or equals 8 hours/day in headquarters of Bajau Escorindo, PT .
Course Fee
A fee is required for this course Rp. 3.850.000.
